Today at the allotment

Today, we had a large attendance at the allotment and got a lot of work done. We planted more seeds and tidied up by the greenhouse.

We are in the process of carrying out monthly (February)  analysis on this site. Our hit numbers have declined steadily, so we would like to encourage people to check this site regularly.

We also decided not to try to raise money for charity, as we had no ideas of how to.

Today at the allotment club, we tidied the greenhouse, planted more seeds and discovered interesting red pupae in the greenhouse, which meant that we could not move the capillary matting as Mr. Holland stated that they were “interesting.”

One of the main aims of allotment club is to grow crops in an ecologically friendly manner. This is why we use biodegradable pots and no pesticides or fertiliser.

Wednesday the second will be our first formal session after half term, and as it is in March, we will be able to plant more things. We will be mainly planting sunflowers, so feel free to come along if you want to help.

Due to little interest in E-Allotment, we have decided to use it as a programming excersise which we will not publically distribute. This may change.
